The iBook G3/900 14-Inch (Early 2003 - Opaque White), features a 900 MHz PowerPC 750fx (G3) processor with a 512k "on chip" level 2 cache, 256 MB of RAM, a 40.0 GB Ultra ATA hard drive, a tray-loading 8X/24X/10X/24X DVD-ROM/CD-RW "Combo" drive, 2X AGP ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 graphics with 32 MB of VRAM, and optional AirPort (802.11b) packed into a opaque white case with a 14.1" TFT XGA active matrix display (1024x768 native resolution).
The iBook (Early 2003 - Opaque) models are very similar to the Late 2002 models before them, so much so that Apple did not issue a new press release for this line.
In particular, the iBook G3/900 14-Inch (Early 2003 - Opaque White) is quite similar to the iBook G3/800 14-Inch (32 VRAM/Late 2002) from the previous series, but the "Opaque White" model shipped in an opaque white case instead of a translucent white one and was equipped with a faster processor and an optical drive that writes CDs more quickly but reads DVDs more slowly.
The iBook G3/900 14-Inch (Early 2003) also is very similar to the iBook G3/900 (Early 2003) introduced at the same time, but the 14-Inch model offers a larger, but same resolution, 14.1 inch display in an appropriately larger case and shipped by default with twice the amount of RAM (256 MB instead of 128 MB) and an enhanced battery for longer runtime.
