Apple iPhone 12 ProPlease note that this A2408 iPhone 12 Pro is compatible with 5G NR bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77, n78, and n79. It is not compatible with 5G NR band n71 (600 MHz) or 5G NR mmWave bands n260 and n261. It was sold in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. It is technically compatible with carriers around the world, but unlike other iPhone 12 models, it lacks eSIM capability and instead supports dual nano-SIMs.

All iPhone 12 Pro models have a haptic-touch capable 6.1" (diagonal) "Super Retina XDR" display (2532x1170, 460 ppi, 800 nits max brightness) that occupies nearly the entire front of the device. It has four cameras. On the front -- tucked in the "notch" -- is a "TrueDepth" camera that in addition to supporting "Advanced Face ID" identification functionality, takes 12 megapixel photos, shoots 4K video, and has software support for Portrait mode, Portrait lighting, and more. The rear packs a 4K video-capable "pro 12 megapixel camera system" with three cameras -- Ultra Wide (f/2.4 aperture, 120-degree field of view), Wide (f/1.6 aperture), and Telephoto (f/2.0 aperture). Apple notes that the iPhone 12 Pro provides "computational photography" features that improve low-light performance and reduce noise compared to earlier iPhone models.

The iPhone 12 Pro uses a partially "surgical grade" stainless steel case with flat polished stainless steel sides and has a glass front and back. The front has a "Ceramic Shield" cover for improved durability and the back has an integrated "MagSafe" magnetic charging connection. It is splash, water, and dust-resistant to the IP68 standard (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes). It has four color options -- a medium-toned "Graphite", silver, gold, and "Pacific" blue.

Internally, the iPhone 12 Pro is powered by a 64-bit 3.0 GHz "Apple A14 Bionic" processor with six cores -- two performance cores and four high-efficiency cores -- and a 16-core Neural Engine. It has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of flash storage. It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, Ultra Wideband "for spatial awareness," NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve" for compatible transit systems, a LiDAR scanner, and the aforementioned dual nano SIMs.

Apple estimates that the iPhone 12 Pro provides "up to" 65 hours of audio playback, 11 hours of video playback, and 17 hours of streamed video playback.

In mainland China, this model cost RMB 8,499, 9,299, and 11,099, with 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB of storage, respectively. Various carrier subsidized options were available and discounts were available for trade-ins, as well.
