Apple iPhone 17 Pro MaxPlease note that this A3525 iPhone 17 Pro Max is compatible with FDD-5G NR bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n14, n20, n25, n26, n28, n29, n30, n66, n70, n71, and n75 and TDD-5G NR bands n38, n40, n41, n48, n53, n77, n78, and n79. It is not compatible with 5G NR mmWave bands n258, n260, and n261. It is intended for carriers in Canada, Mexico, Japan, and a number of countries in the Middle East (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE) in addition to the US possessions of Guam and the USVI, but is technically compatible with carriers around the world as long as they support eSIM (it does not support hardware nano-SIM).

All iPhone 17 Pro Max models have an "Always On" haptic-touch capable 6.9" (diagonal) "Super Retina XDR" display with ProMotion (2868x1320, 460 ppi, 120Hz refresh rates) that occupies nearly the entire front of the device. It has four cameras; one in the front and three in the back (marketed as the "equivalent" of "eight pro lenses".

On the front -- tucked in the "Dynamic Island" -- is a "Center Stage" camera that in addition to supporting Face ID, has a f/1.9 aperture, takes 18 megapixel photos, and shoots 4K video.

The rear is equipped with a 4K "Pro Fusion camera system" with a 48 megapixel "Fusion Main" camera (24mm, f/1.78 aperture) that also "enables" 12 megapixel "optical quality" 2x Telephoto (48mm, f/1.78 aperture); a 48 megapixel "Fusion Ultra Wide" (13mm, f/2.2 aperture) camera; and a 48 megapixel "Fusion Telephoto" (100mm 4x; f/2.8 aperture) that also "enables" 12 megapixel "optical quality" 8x Telephoto (200mm, f/2.8 aperture).

The iPhone 17 Pro Max uses an aluminum case with flat sides and has a glass front and glass back. The front has a "Ceramic Shield 2" cover for durability and the back has a weaker "Ceramic Shield" and an integrated "MagSafe" magnetic charging connection. It is splash, water, and dust-resistant to the IP68 standard. It has three color options -- Silver, "Cosmic Orange", and (Dark) "Deep Blue".

Internally, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is powered by a (Pending) GHz Apple A19 Pro processor with six cores -- two performance cores and four efficiency cores -- as well as a 6-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. It has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, or 2 TB of flash storage. It also supports 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 with 2x2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 6, LiDAR, "second generation" Ultra Wideband, NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve", Thread networking, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance via satellite, a USB-C port, hardware "Action" and "Camera Control" buttons, and support for Apple Intelligence AI features.

Apple estimates that the iPhone 17 Pro Max provides "up to" 39 hours of video playback, and 35 hours of streamed video playback.

Price varies by country, but in Canada, this specific iPhone 17 Pro Max costs C$1749, C$2049, C$2349, and C$2949 with 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB of storage, respectively if assigned to a carrier. It also is available financed over a two-year contract for as little as C$72.87, C$85.37, C$97.87, and C$122.87 a month, respectively.
