Apple first shipped Mac mini models with Apple Silicon processors in 2020 and the company continues to sell current models with Apple Silicon processors, as well. Earlier Mac mini models use PowerPC processors, sold from 2005 until 2006, or Intel processors, sold from 2006 until 2023.
