Apple Aluminum Silver M1 Mac miniThe Apple Mac mini "M1" 8-Core (2020) model features a 5-nm 3.2 GHz Apple M1 processor with 8 cores (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), an 8-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, 8 GB of onboard RAM, and by default, either a 256 GB or 512 GB onboard SSD. Both the RAM and the SSD could be upgraded at the time of initial system purchase, but not subsequently.

Connectivity includes 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, two Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 ports (USB-C connector), two USB-A ports (up to 5Gb/s), an HDMI 2.0 port, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Compared to its predecessor, this model looks similar apart from its silver color, but it uses a completely different internal architecture and no longer supports internal upgrades at all.

All Mac mini systems are configured by default without a display, keyboard, or mouse, but numerous Apple and third-party options are available.
