19 September 2024

This update of EveryMac.com features preliminary specs, identifiers, and global prices for new Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 models; additional identifiers for the iPhone 16 lineup; and updated macOS Sequoia (macOS 15), iOS 18, iPadOS 18 Q&As. EveryMac.com’s Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated, too.

Complete info on these Apple Watch and iPhone models can be added after they start to arrive tomorrow, Friday, 20 September 2024.

The “final” versions of macOS Sequoia (macOS 15), iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, and visionOS 2 were released earlier this week. To be on the safe side, EveryMac.com always recommends waiting for a “bug fix” update or two before upgrading to a new operating system.

There have been reports of iPad Pro M4 models being completely “bricked” during the iPadOS 18 update and no longer turning on; a helpful reminder of why waiting a bit longer always is a good idea.

EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated with additional identifiers for Macs and devices from hands-on inspection and submissions by helpful readers. Thank you very much to those who contribute info. It's appreciated always.

If you bought, or buy, a new iPhone or Apple Watch, please get in touch and send in its identifiers when the device arrives. Non-personal information can be added to EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup to help with model identification and differentiation. Thank you.

For those interested in saving money, Apple Authorized site sponsor Adorama has new Apple Watch models for order with free shipping. Site sponsor OWC has used Apple Watch models at a discount — even current ones — but only while supplies last.
