Apple iPhone SE 2 - 2nd Gen - 2020Please note that this A2298 iPhone SE (2nd Gen) model is compatible with FDD‑LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 29, 30, 66, and 71 as well as TD-LTE bands 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 46, and 48. It does not support bands 11, 21, 28, and 32. This model was sold only in mainland China.

Regardless of carrier support, all iPhone SE (2nd Gen) models have a 4.7" (diagonal) widescreen multitouch "True Tone" LED-backlit 1334x750 native resolution "Retina HD" display (326 ppi, 625 cd/m2) and a taptic-engine powered solid state "clickless" Home button.

It has dual cameras -- a rear 12-megapixel 4K camera with optical image stabilization, a f/1.8 aperture, a 6-element lens and wide color capture -- as well as a front 7-megapixel "FaceTime HD" camera with support for 1080p video. The cameras support motion tracking and offer augmented reality support, too.

The iPhone SE (2nd Gen) uses an "aerospace-grade" aluminum alloy case reinforced by steel and has a glass front and back. It is splash, water, and dust-resistant (IP67), but not water-proof, and it has stereo speakers and a Lightning port. It has three color options -- white, black, and (PRODUCT) RED.

Internally, the iPhone SE (2nd Gen) is powered by a 64-bit, 7 nm 2.66 GHz "Apple A13 Bionic" processor with six cores -- two performance cores and four high-efficiency cores -- and a "third-generation Neural Engine." It has 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of flash storage (256 GB option discontinued September 14, 2021; all options discontinued March 8, 2022). It also supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, Gigabit-class LTE with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve" for compatible transit systems, and a single hardware nano SIM (it does not support eSIM).

Apple estimates that the iPhone SE (2nd Gen) provides "up to" 40 hours of audio playback, 13 hours of video playback, and 8 hours of streamed video playback. It supports "wireless" (inductive) charging, too (Qi).

In mainland China, this iPhone SE (2nd Gen) originally cost RMB 3,299, 3,799, or 4,599 upfront or RMB 137, 158, or 192 per month, with 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB of storage, respectively. On September 14, 2021, Apple discontinued the 256 GB option; pricing remained the same for the 64 GB and 128 GB options until this model was discontinued entirely on March 8, 2022. Discounts were available for trade-ins, as well.

**The iPhone SE (2nd Gen) models have dual cameras. The rear 12 megapixel camera has a f/1.8 aperture and supports 4K video recording at 24 fps, 30 fps, or 60 fps as well as 1080p HD video at 30 fps or 60 fps or 720p HD video at 30 fps. It has a 5x digital zoom and optical image stabilization.

The front "FaceTime HD" camera has an f/2.2 aperture and takes 7 megapixel photos and 1080p HD video. It also has a "Retina Flash" function, portrait mode and portrait lighting features, and more. Both cameras have gyroscopes and accelerometers for motion tracking and augmented reality support, too.
